“Mr. Tubs ”- was surrendered to Tucson Hedgehogs in July of 2024
The last owners did not have him in the best living conditions. 
His reason for surrender was “temperament” 
We immediately noticed a severe eye infection. This infection that had not been appropriately treated in time, unfortunately lead to losing his eye. 
Once Tubs was no longer under the painful stress of his eye infection and once he was in an  appropriate hedgie habitat, with lots of enrichment and human handling … he became a friendly little guy. 
He did not need any assistance in his temperament or human handling training.
His adoption fees are a bit higher due to the medical needs he had acquired on intake.
We have Habitat Requirements on all Hedgehog Adoptions - Non-Refundable Reserve Deposit is $50 (plus a $5 CC service fee)- 7 day reservation limit - Must Pick up Hedgehog in person within 7 days after deposit- All Sales and Adoptions Are Final
