To Feed and maintain your meal worms, you will need to allow your mealworms to crunch on vegetables, potatoes, but only during non-hibernation.
 
The moment you place your meal worms in the fridge, it will put your meal worms into a hibernation where they will stop eating, and crawl up to fall asleep.
 
Your mealworms cannot stay like this forever however, so if you are feeling like you've had your meal worms in your fridge too long, please feel free to bring them out of your refrigerator, warm them on your kitchen counter for a few hours, and sprinkle sliced potatoes, carrots, and other veggies on top.
 
After a couple hours of your worms eating, then remove all unsweetened product of food, and place your meal worms back in the refrigerator to go back into hibernation.
